Gin Kings clash with FiberXers in Cagayan de Oro

Rested and ready, Brgy. Ginebra returns to action against Converge as they continue their push for a top 2 finish in the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup.

The Gin Kings will face off against the FiberXers at 6:15 p.m. at the Aquilino Pimentel Jr. International Convention Center in Cagayan de Oro City.

Currently sitting at second place with a 6-3 record, the Gin Kings are coming off a hard-fought victory against TNT, winning 87-83 last week.

In a promising move, the crowd darlings recently signed free agent David Murrell, the reigning PBA Slam Dunk king. This signing is just the beginning of what many believe will be a series of moves to bolster the team.

Under the guidance of legendary coach Tim Cone, Murrell has the opportunity to showcase his skills and thrive.

Known for his ability to bring out the best in his players, Cone’s coaching style could be just what Murrell needs to shine. The 27-year-old wingman, who saw limited playing time with Magnolia this season before being released, now has the chance to make a significant impact with Ginebra.

With the support of the passionate Ginebra crowd behind him, Murrell is motivated to excel on the court.

As the team looks ahead to the remaining games, they are focused on securing a top 2 spot and the valuable twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

Facing a FiberXers team that is already out of playoff contention with a 1-8 record, Ginebra is determined to finish the season strong.
