Plenty of amenities available for PBA players at Clark bubble

The PBA made an assurance that there won’t be a shortage of leisure activities for the players while inside the Clark bubble for the duration of the 2020 Philippine Cup restart.

League commissioner Willie Marcial bared that there are plenty of amenities available for the entire delegation to use which would help take their minds off PBA-related activities during downtimes.

“Pwede sila mag-golf, may water sports. Baka maglagay din kami ng big screen para makapanood sa gabi. Maglalagay din ng bilyaran at table tennis,” said Marcial.

Amenities was actually one of the major aspect that the league took into consideration before deciding on the bubble venue especially since the conference would take at least 2 months to finish.

“Imagine being together for two months doing nothing but stay in the hotel. The reason we chose Clark is because of the facilities they can offer,” said league chairman Ricky Vargas.

Quest Hotel, the league’s home for the next two months, is located in Clark and is just 10 minutes away from Angeles University Foundation gym – the official training and games venue for the bubble.

Once inside, players won’t be allowed to leave the premises during the course of the campaign. Violators will be slapped with a ₱100,000 fine, 5-game suspension which will be applicable the following season, and forfeiture of 1-month salary.
