WATCH: Best Player – Stanley Pringle [Brgy. Ginebra vs Phoenix Super LPG | October 21, 2020]

Brgy. Ginebra proved to be only too eager to give Phoenix Super LPG some more valuable lessons the latter had wanted.

One is how to do a quick turnaround. Not relying too much on just one guy is another.

For the fourth straight game a different player stood out for the Kings and powered them over the Fuel Masters, 86-71, Wednesday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart 5G-powered AUF Sports Arena in Angeles City.

Stanley Pringle took the lead with 20 points while Prince Caperal also gamely delivered with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds on top of five assists as the Ginebra franchise got off to its best start since the 1986 Open Conference.

More important, the Kings improved to a 4-0 slate and into a tie with idle leader TNT, which winning coach Tim Cone partly credited as helping cause the relatively easy win over a Phoenix side barely recovered from a 91-110 loss to the Tropang Giga Monday evening.

“We got an assist from TNT. Right now, Phoenix is going through a really murderous time in their schedule, they had to play TNT who plays with tremendous pace, up and down, up and down, up and down. And then you have to turn around one and a half-day later and play us,” said Cone.
