Meralco lit it up on the road here in this Quezon Province capital city, and the PBA Governors Cup finale is returning to Manila with the protagonists to break a 1-1 standoff.

Going to Lucena, Meralco coach Norman Black said they have to bring their guns to have a chance to beat the Gin Kings.

They did.

The Bolts outgunned the Gin Kings from afar and fashioned out a 104-102 win in a fightback from their 87-91 loss in the series opener Tuesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

John Pinto was a magic bunot, providing the early spark with his 4-of-5 three-point shooting early on, then Allen Durham and Baser Amer had their crucial explosions from the arc later on as the Bolts got back at the Kings.

The Gin Kings waged a comeback effort from 19 points down but the Bolts rose to the challenge this time, with Amer drilling big treys coming off the bench as Meralco fended off Ginebra.

The two teams fight for the 2-1 lead as the series goes back to the Big Dome Sunday for Game Three.
