WATCH: Jayson David scores 4-straight points for the win!

Rain or Shine hopes to join Magnolia as the only unblemished teams in the PBA on Tour, as the Elasto Painters take on the Barangay Ginebra Kings at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig in search of victory number five.

The game begins at 7:30 p.m.

While the Hotshots are dominating with a nearly intact roster, the Elasto Painters are rolling with a blend of veteran and rookie players under returning coach Yeng Guiao.

As Rey Nambatac and his teammates are still in the process of establishing team chemistry, they play an offensive style of game that is generating positive results.

Rain or Shine is the team holding down the fort as the top offensive team with an average of 112.7 points and the top rushing team with 25 transition markers, despite Magnolia’s 6-0 record.

The Elasto Painters’ production is evenly distributed, with Nambatac (16 ppg and 3.7 apg) serving as the primary gun.

Young firearms Anton Asistio (13.25 ppg), Leonard Santillan (11 ppg, 9.25 rpg), Shaun Ildefonso (10 ppg), and Jhonard Clarito (10 ppg) have also emerged as reliable players in ROS’ blazing start to the preseason presented by Arena Plus and sponsored by Bingo Plus.

Ginebra, without its core group of Scottie Thompson, Japeth Aguilar, Jamie Malonzo, Stanley Pringle, and Christian Standhardinger, must definitely delve deep in order to score and compete.

The Kings have a record of 2-3 despite not having scored more than 95 points in any of their contests.
