The PBA board of governors discusses on Wednesday protocols for training and eventual return to play of the PBA ball clubs, anticipating the government to relax quarantine restrictions in Metro Manila soon.
In fact, the PBA Commissioner’s Office workforce is set to return to work Monday, after undergoing COVID-19 test Saturday then the disinfection procedure in the PBA office in Libis, Quezon City Sunday.
“Half of the personnel at the start, then the other half in a rotation process. Kapag lumabas na ang resulta ng test at kapag meron ng transportation, then we’ll be back to normal office duty,” said PBA commissioner Willie Marcial.
Crucial is the meeting Wednesday, with chairman Ricky Vargas and most of the board members expected to be physically present.
“First time na magkikita-kita na. Pero yung gustong through online pa rin ang attendance, pwede naman. Those who are showing up in the office will observe social distancing. We’re meeting in our video-review room which is about 2.5 bigger than our regular conference, so we can strictly observe physical distancing,” said Marcial.
