Brgy. Ginebra celebrated the career milestones of head coach Tim Cone and resident import Justin Brownlee with a lopsided win over Blackwater, 98-84, Friday night in the elimination round of the PBA Season 47 Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The Bossing, meanwhile, slid to 12th place in the team standings with their 8th loss in 12 outings.

“It’s a real honor to say I did that, but it just goes to show that I’m old,” said Cone during the post-game presser.

“We’ll definitely go for the 1,001st against TNT on Sunday. We’ll enjoy for a moment then move on,” he added.

Brownlee paced the crowd darlings with 17 points on 7-of-17 shooting with 2-of-5 coming from 3-point country. The 2-time Best Import awardee hauled down 7 boards, issued 3 assists and stole the ball 4 times in 31 minutes of action.

“It’s been a great week, especially topping it off with a win,” said Brownlee who saw his naturalization bid pass the first reading earlier in the week.
