Magnolia def Brgy. Ginebra, 91-80 [PBA on Tour | June 11, 2023]

The PBA On Tour swings back to Antipolo on Sunday, featuring the Manila Clasico at the Ynares Sports Center.

Even sans some of their stars, the Magnolia Hotshots and the Barangay Ginebra Kings are expected to live up to the tradition of their rivalry in their 7:30 p.m. tussle presented by Arena Plus and sponsored by Bingo Plus.

Coach Chito Victolero and his troops seek to preserve their perfect run, going for win No. 4 against a Ginebra side looking to stand their ground even minus coach Tim Cone and a number of core stalwarts including Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonzo, Japeth Aguilar, Stanley Pringle and Christian Standhardinger.

It’s still a battle of pride although it’s just a preseason face-off.

The Hotshots are taking care of business minus Ian Sangalang and Calvin Abueva.

At the forefront of their bid are star guards Mark Barroca and Paul Lee and shock troopers like James Laput, Jerrick Ahanmisi, Jed Mendoza and Jackson Corpuz.

The Gin Kings, for their part, are embarking with a crew built around Jeremiah Gray, Aljon Mariano, Raymond Aguilar, Nards Pinto, Von Pessumal and 3×3 stalwarts led by Kim Aurin.
